I was messing around with the fallout 2 sfall and found you could change the hero's sprite set, and even more that you could set it to various critters. That was fun for about the amount of time it took me to realize that deathclaws and firegeckos couldn't manipulate doors and caused crashes rarely. Makes sense I guess.

My request is maybe if someone's interested in making a hero-compatable spriteset for an intelligent deathclaw. Similar to Goris maybe with his robe+the animation speedup would be neat, but a simple recolour of the normal deathclaws would work.
Either a replacer or something I can link using the sfall ddraw.ini options would be great.
Spoiler contained below in side request, related to the story of fallout 2:

As a side request, I don't suppose anyone would be interested in a making it an actual mod with a dialogue/faction overhaul, and maybe an alternate pathway for the intelligent deathclaw vault to not get murdered and wiped out no matter what you do? Seriously every other quest in fallout 1 and 2 at least has some sort of moderately positive resolution, and then suddenly you've got a quest that can only be resolved negatively. You either don't help them, you only partially help them, or you help them and then get forced into a cutscene in which the enclave go "haha! J/k no. Pewpew."
Rant aside, someone starting at level 1, even an intelligent death claw, could probably get beaten up by fire geckos and thrown into a trial by the tribe that found them.
Would probably need character prefabs or altered stats to deal with them not being a normal pc character.
I'm laughing at the idea of someone like Goris attempting to wear the vault 13 suit that you get at the end of the trial quest, though.
Some sort of light armor and claw modifications too I guess? Can't really see those being important, especially considering that Goris does just fine without them.
Also, who wouldn't want an intelligent deathclaw bouncer? I'm sure that if the main character managed enough dumb luck and/or speechcraft or other wasteland means, they could convince one of the less enclave factions to peacefully deal with the deathclaw vault. At that point it wouldn't be too unreasonable to find them in places you'd find the population accepting things like ghouls, would it?
