[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Jan-02-02 AT 06:58AM (GMT)[p]Ok this may sound stupid to some but its kinda an addition to a part used in FO:T (ok ok , yes all things in FO:T sucks but anyways) , i would like to see in the character creation window a picture of your character , just a front on picture , see first youd start off with a standard Male/Female , then when your characters base modifiers are changed (ST, EN, CH, PE, IN so forth) the picture also changes slightly . Eg. if your character has higher strength they will appear with a bigger muscle density picture than other characters . if your character is charismatic they may look friendly or something along those lines , on the other hand if they have a low intellect they may have a confused look on their face , if they have low endurance they may look overweight or scrawny, if they have low charisma they may be horribly ugly ;) ........ hmmmmm luck, and perception would be hard ones to depict though . and it should show to an extent the armour theyre wearing too, another idea would be to make higher leveled characters look more veteran than lower characters , maybe meaner looking ......
i guess it could be done using a 3-D model program ..... oh well i thought it would just be good to picture what your actual character would look like opposed to them being exactly the same as every other person seen in the wasteland .. ok flamers , start your engines ..

I think thats actually a prety good idea.. It wouldnt be that hard to impliment, think about it, all you need is several bodies which change depending on STR, END and AGL, faces that change depending on CHA ect... plus you could use a bit of modern tech to plaster a pic of your own face onto the front of the head... not too dificult nowerdays if you look at quake:arena where you could make player models of your entire body....

hmmmm not with your own face on it , maybe before you add your 5 additional points to it , it may look like a large pip boy , then say you add STR to him , his muscle mass would look bigger, maybe add EN and your character may look less fat or look healthier , Add charisma and he may look more friendly or smile, add intelligence and he may look less clueless ...... and so forth ...

That sounds like a whole hell of a lot of work that could be spent on other areas of the game. It'd also require polygon based 3D rendering, which would pretty much kill the Sci-fi retro-comic book look of the game. Since BIS only has one 3D engine they own the license for, 3D means Lithtech.

Besides, what does it matter if you actually have a little something they used to call imagination?

oh yeah, that'll be fun, i can *IMAGINE* that my character has bigger muscles, and i can *IMAGINE* my character is fat.
