Hi! I'm new here, and I would like to ask some things

Zanardi

First time out of the vault
Hello!

I'm a old-time Fallout player, and I do remember playing Fallout 1 and 2 on my 486 dx2, waiting minutes of loading times to try lot's of possibilities on the games.

May I ask some things, for curiosity?

I've heard of Fonline from a friend, and I do see that there's a board rule to not talk about it. May I ask why? Just to know more the community.

Also, I've not found a forum section about Fallout Tactics(just tech help and modding). It's not much popular?

Sorry if the questions are basic. I'm much of a cave guy.

Fallout Tactics ... It's not much popular?

:: sad tear ::
Tactics is not popular - but i just literally finished another play-through  that inhumane calculator won't get the best of the brotherhood, not while I still roam the wastes.

Note of non-interest: I had three Gatling Lasers a Ma Deuce and 2 gauss rifle in my end team, silly robots, take that!

I like Tactics, but I wish it had more varied missions and more varied enemies.

If I could get a wish, I would like Fallout Tactics to look more like Diablo 2.
Hey, dont look at me like that! Let me explain:
I would like to see the more agile soldiers to move faster. I would like to see different weapons and armor pieces on soldiers, and I would love to see a more loose movement on the soldiers. They are such robotic.

At the same time, well, they tried to get all the Fallout they could, on the Tactics model, and I cant blame for that.

Also, more varied environments and places.

I'd have like more of the city environments that the mid game featured while fighting mutants.

also; as for what I'd like the game to be more like? Well, that's easy its called Jagged Alliance 2 .. but then, I already have that game sooo.....

Jagged Alliance 2.... I've read a great book about it. Too bad it does not run on my pc, from Steam, and I'm lazy to try another way.

While I may be wrong about this, only being here for a year myself, judging that the name of this :falloutonline:smily is "Fallout Online", I'm guessing most people think mentioning it is beating a dead horse.

My guess is that perhaps it was popular for a while, but it kinda went out of relevance, and people got tired of hearing about it.

I tried Fonline once. It was rather fun for a little while, but then you eventually realize that a lot of grinding is needed, and you can't trust most of the other players.

I could probably trust you.

So long as you admit that Fallout 4 is a superior game.

Oh and some advice for @Zanardi - Fallout 3 and 4 are better games than 1 and 2. Mindless shooting and tedious looting > good writing and shadow lighting.

hahahaha. Well, I do like Fallout 4. I still dream with a Obsidian game, but, sure. To tell the truth, I'm kinda addicted to Fallout 4. It's gorgeous, and the survival mode is awesome. I do collect stories of funny things that only happens when running for your life on that game mode.

Fonline... I do have a friend who really plays it. A lot. I've heard the stories, of betrayals, looting and killings. But... it's what a MMO is about, right?
