I think it's a wonderful thing that you're trying to put together a comprehensive history of the Fallout world, but I can't help wonder what you're doing it FOR. I mean, just putting it together is fun, and of course it would be a big resource for FanFiccers and the morbidly fanatic, but I can't help but hope you had a higher purpose in mind. I mean, when it comes to Fallout theory, this board is home to some real web-spinners, and... well, let me just make a long story short. I managed to get access to a friend's computer recently, and thus a few stolen hours of ICQ chat time. It just so happened that Mister T (A Fallout: RPG participant, onetime NMA RPG player, collaborator and good friend of mine) was on, too, and he informed me of a Fallout developer chat that had taken place as V13. One of the subsequent developments of the chat, he said, was the decision of the Fallout higher-ups to create a 'Fallout Bible' so that there would be no deviation from the 'official' storyline in future games. I really think that, once you've finished weaving together the Fallout timeline (and, hopefully, collecting and documenting the most likely Fallout theories that have been spun on this board) that you should show it to the Fallout developers and ask for them to include it in THEIR account of Fallout events. After all, so many people have spun out so many plausble and interesting theories on this board that at least ONE of them HAS to be true. Plus, there's always the ultimate appeal of Fallout finally, truly, being 'By Gamers, For Gamers.'
