I saw this over on Vault 0 and thought some of you might be interested. Some of the greats in horror fiction can be found here. The Lovecraft and Poe collections are especially worth a look.
Call of Cthulhu rules! I am looing forward to "At the Mountains of Madness" tonight.

also Dracula, Frankenstein, Picture of Dorian Grey, Dr. Jeckell and Mr Hyde. Stevenson's classic is still a great read. Apparently he wrote it in three days, showed it to his wife who was so repulsed that he threw it in the fire. Than he wrote it again! Check out the fiction, and it's free!

"Herbert West : Re-Animator" is a classic. So is the movie, though it is a bit different from Lovecraft's story.

They just came out with the third and final "Re-Animator" movie, "Beyond Re-Animator." It's really good. A lot better than "Bride of Re-Animator", but not as good as the original.

I really don't think they have done a good Lovecraft flick yet. But some of the stories are great. The Rats in the Walls is pretty good, as is the Dunwich Horror.
