how can I get an item (cheat)?

ok, I messed up, and had Renesco killed, before I ever got to Broken Hills. This pretty much kills my chances of getting Marcus to join me since I need Renesco to complete some quests before Marcus'll come along. So....what I would like to do is use a slight cheat to get the air purifier that I need from Renesco to complete Zaius' quest. What is the exact way to get an item (air purifier)?
I need detailed info if possible!
