How come mutants can break the laws of physics?

On Osceallo level or however you spell it, the laws of physics appearently dont apply to mutants. A mutant can shoot at me from 50 feet away, with a SAW set on burst fire, and tear up one my guys as if it was point blank range. These aint any critical hits because it happened tp me 12 or 11 times in a row, and my guys with burst fire have a 0% chance to hit from that range. It is not really giving me any problems as it is confusing and annoying. Has anyone else noticed this?

I can explain it...sorta

I just got passed that mission, took me forever too, I know exactly what your talking about, the guards in front of the main entrances I belive are much higher levels than the rest of the mutants on that stage, so they have much better accuracy and prolly luck, just don't run into them and youll be fine, most of the Mutants inside the actuall base are total gimps...to save you frustration here is how I beat the damn stage...

1) From the start stay near the left, I guess it would be east wall and keep travleing up north, when you get to the first mutant, kill him, but be careful because there is a party of 3 well armed mutants that makes big circles around the area, aviod them...once the guy is killed make a mad dash for the big pipes up ahead...

2) once you reach the pipes go all the way to the top of them until you see that big opening, look on the map and you should also see a green dot in the north direction...run towards him

3) This is Roshambo whenever I talked ot ihm, my game would crash so be careful...basicly go behind the big blimp, and inside the ruins nearby, walk though them, and you should see a small side entrance door into the base, but be careful becasue there is couple mines between you and the door,

4)Once you have made it to the door, (make sure you are ducking) there will be a guy jsut in front of you on a ledge, kill him, or distract him, untill he ducks so he doesn't bother you anymore

5)You should see some guys to the east, don't fire at them, there is nothing there excpet some ammo, bascily put everyone into the prone position and go around that guy you just shot at, (don't go up the small set of stairs towards him but around in the lower area)

6) be very careful as there is snipers on the ledge and if you stand up they will most likly kill 3-4 of your guys with a very carefully shot burst...just keep going down and you hsould see some mutants up ahead and a flight of stairs

7) position your guys so that your machine gunners are in front, snipers in back, still proning and proceed to kill the mutants, there is always one that doesn't get killed on the edge of the stairs down so be careful

8) Take your team down the stairs and under the base, don't worry there is no immidiate threat

9)There is a door that opens, automaticly, there is a good mutant on one side and a bad mutant in the adjecent room by the bar, position your guys in the room with the good mutant so that when the bad mutants from the bar rush in your can take them out with a burst...

10) In the room up ahead there is gas tanks, there is also two guys in there, have somone go up near the door so it triggers it to open and have a sniper take out one gas tank and everyone in there will die

11) Contiune into the bar now, careful because there is a flamethrow mutant hiding behind the boxes just as you walk in...The only door in the bar is where the general is hiding

12)Careful becuase he has a tommy gun with .45 ammo and for some reason it just tears you up...take him out and proceed back to where you began your mission, don't try to take out the guards cuz they are still there...
