How do you read holodisks?

I just finished the osceolla mission and found two holodisks there. But how the heck do you read them? in the previous 2 fallouts you had to double click it. But in FOT i click and i click and nothing happens. And by the way something is supposed to come up. I dug through the .bos files and found audio files for them.
 
I can't remember exactly how you do it, I know I did, maybe you have to put them in your user panel and use them.
 
what holodisk ? I found a tape for General Barnekey, but never found any holodisk.. where ???
