How i equip armors in my npc friends?

Hand them armour and click the "use best armour" button. Makes sense!

Do you find it too dificult to just open the fallout 2 manual and see how to do that???
Anyway,start dialogue with the npc you want to change the armor,press the combat control button (on the right part of the screen) and then press the use best armor option.
