How strong & fast are the Deathclaws & Mutants?

In the real world, how strong & fast are the Deathclaws & Mutants? Judging As for physical strength, both of the species are obviously stronger than humans. Judging by the size of the muscles, the mutants probably have 3 to 5 times strength of your regular meatheads; in other words, for each mutant, he could lift at least 1000 kgs above his head. As for speed, I never saw mutants do some sprinting. For deathclaws, no contest, they could probably run as fast as race horses but with greater stamina and explosion in muscle twitch. In hand to hand combat, the best punching power that a human could pack, for blackbelt experts, with barehand, is at least 2000 foot pounds or above. An average mutant could probably break that record. If human could smash concrete, why couldn't the Mutants do the same when they were in prison in Broken Hills to escape in FO1? Brick wall don't stand a chance. What's your take?

I know they don't exist in the real world. What I'm saying what are the measurements of their physical attributes in the real world. Hypothetically speaking.

I think the reason they dont escape from the prison in broken hills is becuase even though they are mutants and they might think they are wrongfully in jail, they do respect marcus. Plus the might know that if they escaped jail, marcus is waiting outside to blow them away with a minigun.

I'd imagine that the deathclaws (judging by their striking resemblance to gorillas and their speed in tactics) are REALLY fast and could probably chase down a truck doin about 30 mph and flip it by jammin its claws into the back bumper.

A super mutant probably couldn't run very fast. The bulk of their upper body doesn't work well with the weird, long legs (in fallout). Although I imagine they could bench about 700 pounds!

It seems to me that a deathclaw would have to be strong enough to rend steel in it's claws for the Enclave to consider them any real threat. Otherwise they'd be impervious to the deathclaws attacks while wearing power armor.

Just look at the thing.

And then there is the deathclaws knockdown feature. You know, a bullet blocked by a bulletproof west does still most of the blunt damage to the "target" even thought the west is bulletproof.

"You know, there is an old saying in the brotherhood, if its mouth is bigger than your head, it is probably dangerous."

Well since the deathclaw can tare a man in two with one strike I doubt a bullet proof vest would help, and as you say, the extreme knockdown ability. Even if you're in a power armour I would imagine it could easily blow you of your feet.

By the way that picture has often made me wonder...it's head doesn't look the same as it does in game. It doesn't even look like a jackson camelon's head...

Is this better?

Thought it shouldn't have the fur. It looks like a monster could look like, if it would exist.(real muscles, teeth etc.)

Actually the "real" deathclaw (heh) can be seen in the photos of the model here in the NMA gallery:

I think this is an interesting question. Remember that muscle quality can vary. If I recall, orangutans have 4-5 times? human strength with about the same muscle mass.

Another point is the difference between strength and toughness. You may be strong enough to drive your fist through a brick wall, but it may be a bloody mass of bone shards and pulp when it comes out the other side.

I agree that super mutants are super strong but aren't built for speed, and deathclaws are strong and fast (and stealthy). Unarmed, the edge goes to deathclaws for their...well... claws of death.
For quantitative numbers, yeah a low multiple of (elite) human performance sounds good for SM's. For DC's, I'd rather compare to some other RL reference... gorilla maybe??
