How to actually mod? i hate asking this.

so, i'm pretty much disappointed in the ol' fallout 3, and wouldn't mind altering a few things.

the trouble is, i haven't modded any games beyond using the character editors for 1 and 2 way back when.

I've tried searching this forum, but so far i haven't come up with the basic how to's on modding. i don't know. maybe my search-fu is weak.

so, what exactly do with a mod i've downloaded (i.e. where do i drop the data, and any special instructions besides that)?

any help is appreciated.

you wanna know how to manage the mods you downloaded?
first you download FOMM (search on this page: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47525).

Second you need to follow the instructions in the mod, most of them, just put the .esp files in the data folder, or unrar archive on data folder.

Then, opem fomm, check the box with the name of mod and launch FO
