How to change my log-on screen?

I'm kinda embarrassed to be asking this, but how should I change my logon screen on Windows XP so that it isn't:
-Select a user
-Classical prompt
These two are the only options I have.

Earlier, before I got Service Pack 3, I had no need to log on at all. My computer would just show "Welcome", and everything would be ok, just starting normally. Now I have to click on my user account (only one) and then it would show "Welcome" etc. It is kinda annoying...

Google search gives me tones of results, but I don't see explanation I need anywhere...so NMA comes for that.

you have to create an account, make sure it has no password

then inside the user control thing, there is an option to setup an account that always logs on, set it to the account without a password.

there, now it wont prompt you

For XP, you can also download Microsoft's Tweak UI powertoy application and, under the "Logon" section, set it to automatically log on even if you have a password. This is useful if you want to be able to lock your computer after logon, say if you have your laptop in class and need to leave it for a bit or something. Still has the obvious security hole upon starting the thing that comes with not having a password to begin with, but is still something to keep in mind.
