How to get cool Reaver characters

I'm not sure if anybody found out this... There's a mission in the game (don't remember the name) where you have to resque a coupla Reaver "high-ranking officials"... You can actually keep them for the entire game! All you have to do is to load all of them in the tank which is conviniently provided in the mission. Most of these NPCs are pretty useless, although the Reaver army general can really kick some ass!!!
 
I had heard some mention of that bug. I'll have to try it next time I play.
