how to get riddick (special enc)

east from bunker beta about 6 square there is special enc ,..
there is riddick he just walk , how can i get him in the recuitment ...
 
special encounter = random location
therefore where you encounter it is by no mean anywhere near where anyone else would encounter it

that I have no idea
 
Anybody recruited this guy or got him in their pool? Just like to get some idea of what skills, stats he has.

Oh, really? Then how come everybody's saying that the special encounters are ALWAYS in the same location? The random loc. for special encounters was in the original Fallout and Fallout 2.
 
When I got that encounter I can't even talk to that guy, then I take a dash for the exit, barely made it and Ridick went to fight the deathclaws.. don't think he made it though..
 
I've tried several reloads in my game and always ended up fleeing. Most times Riddick gets himself surrounded and is shredded into Deathclaw food. With the lousy lighting, deathclaws attacking on all sides and the crazy numbers of them, most times I'm hard pressed just to escape without getting anybody killed. I may re-try this encounter now that I've got some deadlier hardware and see if it helps...

Wait until Riddick left the area (arrived at exit), the deathclaws won't get activatet until u move (so stand and do nothing). After he left scroll to the exit (can be seen on the minimap) and tell your squad to run there directly. In Real-Time-Mode they arrive the exit just a second before the Deathclaws. Riddick can then be recruited at the bunker (he's knight rank, lvl 11).
 
thx a lot , last time i tried , i did kill all the deathclaws (riddick still unhurt) but i haven't tried it in the recruitement
now , i want to try .... ok thx alot ....
 
I think you can also kill the deathclaws. I mentioned running, because you might perhaps encountered the event early (like me armed with hunting rifles), so you had no chance against the beasts. I also don't know if knight is the right rank name (i don't have the englisch version), but his picture shows a shield.
 
I never got any special encounters and I'm already up to Kansas City! Can you still have deathclaws attack you after you've made friends with Mother? When/where can I find each special encounter, since I haven't found a single one!
