How to make transparent background in pcx format?

Hi guys, i was wondering how guys from teamx made in mr.fixit pcx files with transparent background. I thought that maybe they just use in background this same color that in mr.fixit window, but that color just cant be use because of fallout 2 not many colors pallete. When i try to recreate color of that background its immediately changing on black color. Any ideas? Regards bziumm
 
I worked it out: russian magic = use this same color of background that is in mr.fixit ;-) I just got some program problem, thats all ;-)
