How we can save Interplay (and Fallout 3)

As you are all probably aware, Interplay's stocks are at an extremely low level. I suggest that everyone on the NMA message boards buys as much stock as they can (at $.70 a share that should be a lot). I'll bet between us we could take home Millions of shares. Interplay will be revitalized by this injection of capital, and we, the patrons of No Mutants Allowed, will hold a controling interest in the company! And we all know what that means: Fallout 3, with NO pilot skill, NO first person perspective, FEWER easter eggs, LESS sex than Fallout 2 yet MORE sex than Fallout 1, a LONG and INTRICATE plot with lots of options, and NO PATCHES REQUIRED, PERIOD. Ok, no more capitalization for me for a while. We can do it if we all work together. We can do it if MOST of us work together (oops...). Hell, I could probably do it on my own, and my portfolio is still recovering from Black April (I tripled my investment in two months, then it went down to less then 50% of its original value). It can be done. Fallout 3 can be saved. *Knocks back 27th shot of Vodka* Fallout 3 can be saved...

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-01 AT 11:35AM (GMT)[p]Hmmm, i called the bank that takes care of my portfollio and a polite voice just said "you want to buy IP shares? what? you`re on jet or something, you #$%&%$&%$#$%!"

So, sorry, no can do...

well, at least we still can joke about it, i have a bad fealling on this :-(

It's all just too bad.

Titus seems to think they can save Interplay but massive job cuts may not be the way to go. I'm thinking that the best think we can do is wait for 2002 when Interplay falls flat on it's face again and Titus decideds to liquidate. Then we all congrigate into a mob around Tim Cain's House and Sierra's offices and refuse to leave until they buy the Fallout/Wasteland liscence on the auction.

Actually I think the Auction will be interesting. Which liscences will get more money? BG, PS:T, Fallout, etc...
