I can't enter Vault City in any way!!!

First time out of the vault
I Just cant enter this city anyway!!! Even with my two day passes!!! I just cant enter it! Think its because of my vilain reputation i this city, most people wont even talk with me, and that includes the two guards tha block the entrance to the city and Skeev, who would seel me fake citizenship! Please hellp me, since this is a crtiical location to progress in the game
 
Looks like you're screwed. Use an old save game, or start over.

It may be possible to use a character editor, but since I don't use them, I don't know if it would work.
 
OK, first of all - how did you get the Villified reputation? Who did you already talk to in the city/courtyard?

I think your option is to Lockpick the gate, but you'll probably end up having to fight the guards and everyone, so i wouldn't do it unless I had a decent party and/or equipment.

Vault City isn't that important, you can finish the game never visiting it... If you have already talked to Ed (The brahmin guy) about the water flasks, you can just leave VC ad head south.

OH DAMMMMMMMMM!! all my save games are from after I got to vault ciry!! And to start over would be a pain!!! And vault city IS important!! Isnt there where u get the geck? And isnt there where u can do surgerys to raise your stats???
And i really dont know why I got vilain reputation. Onlly wrong thing I did was to try to enter vault city speaking with the guard WITHOT a day pass, and I did it twice (both times I lied, said I was a citizen) so when I did that, I was with the vilain reputation. And to force my way In isnt a good idea, since ALL npc´s then in that area would be hostile!!!Isnt there any way to improve my reputation in game, or with a cheater?

This MAY be fixed by restoring the savegame map of Vault City to the default. I don't know if just deleting the map file will work, but back it up first before you try. Then it might look towards the default map and reload it from new.

This might clear up your reputation problem, if not, maybe a character editor might work. I don't know that either since I haven't used any.
 
Theres a bug that I ran in to, I had never really talked to anyone, and I wasnt allowed to enter the city, went around it and beat the game anyway. I was glad that they all died of rad-piosoning.
