I can't pick up some of the items in Dead money

First time out of the vault
I can't pick up caravan cards,and also cant open any of deans stashes and ghost corpses. other than that everything in the game works fine.
please help.
 
It would be helpful to know what system you are using X-Box, PC, PS3 etc.
 
I am using a samsung e3520 laptop with Windows 7 home premium,4gb ram and an intel core i3-2310M 2.10GHz processor. I don't know the video card specs tough :|
