I Killed the Overseer

Ha Ha Ha, I finnaly did it, the snotty little prick is dead!!! It may, in fact, be general knowledge that you can indeed kill him, however, it was new to me. After countless hours trying to find a way to do it the answer found me. If you do not know how to kill him, this may only be a few people, the steps, although reletively simple, go as follow:

1. Create your character.
2. Be a double crossing bastard. (ie. Work for both good and bad guys, finnishing all their quests only to betray and kill them.)
3. Before finnishing the game, assuming that you have already either killed the Master or destroyed the vats, kill everyone in the Fallout World.
4. Finnish the game, either by killing the Master or destroying the vats.
5. You should now be a Harbinger of Death, (Bad ass mutha-F@3ker). After the Overseer gives you his little speech and begins to walk away your character SHOULD pull out his/her gun and shoot the Overseer in the back. The following death sequence is undoubtedly the best in the game! The Overseer is split in two, vertically not across the waist, and then slithers to the vault door as a snake would.

If you have not seen this then I recommend that you begin asap. It is well worth the effort.
 
I Killed the Overseer, TWICE

And I don't mean in two different games.

First, you can also achieve the same result by choosing the bloody mess trait.

As for how I did it:
After saying bye bye to him, I quickly hit the A key to initiate combat. I shot him, and he died. Then, I ended combat, and voila, the overseer is back on his feet, begging for some more punishment... >:)

(since I had the bloody mess trait my char killed him again...)
 
Well you know what? I got 10 Overseers on the same screen!

But I had to edit my movement so that it was damn near infinate. Anyway, what I did is the following:

A.While he is lecturing, tap 'A' rapidly.
B.Once he has finished lecturing, run out of the cave.
C.Then I played the game forever, no time limits!
D.Or I went back and found that there we're two Overseers standing in the cave. Then I ran out again and so on until a whole army of Overseer clones was blocking my way through.

Huh?! You're meant to give yourself infinate movement points so that you can this.

I once killed the overseer. My character was a bad guy. I don't remember how bad my karma was, but I was branded as a child-killer. After he asked me to leave I hit him with a burst from my laser gatling gun, he lost a leg, an arm, and other various organs.
 
yeah, i shot the prick too, and the funniest thing is after he lost his various body bits he started dragging himself back to the vault door, hehe, >:)
 
yeah, i should have tried that, what would be funnier would be if i kicked him on his crawl back to the door.

I killed him w/o the bloody mess trait and with good karma. It just goes to show, even the good guys think he needed to be shot. :)

If you kill everyone in V-13 (after returning the water chip), does the Overseer still come out to greet you?

I killed him too but I was not playing a bad guy.
I just pressed the A button on the keyboard as he was walking away and I shot him with my Turbo plasma rifle.

and yes is it one of the best death scenes in fallout.
