I'd like to find a new Fallout 2 jewel case

Hey there guys, this is both an introductory message, me being new here, and an inquiry: I really don't know if this counts as "off topic" or not being as it's about Fallout packaging, not gameplay, so I'll take my chances. Does anybody know where a new Fallout 2 jewel case might be found? I've never seen one quite like it; it has small slits on the top and bottom, along with the clear "binding". Thanks in advance for any kind of help,

First off, welcome to the boards. I don't know the answer to your question, hopefully someone can help you out though. I'm moving this to the "General Fallout Discussion" forum in the meantime.
 
Dunno if it helps, but you could check out your local music store or something for realy cheap cds which may have such a case? :scratch:
 
Actually I think I have one. It's really similar to a lot of CD jewel cases, unless you mean something else about it besides just the plastic jewel case.

I wish I had the box with the actual manual. That was one of the coolest things about Fallout when I first played it, but I picked up Fallout 2 used with the manual on the disk.

Dove: I'm talking about the one that came with the original release, not the later two-discer. Would it be possible for you to somehow get a picture of it on the forum? If it's what I think it is, I could pay you for your trouble. Thanks, anyhow.
 
YEAH! That's the one I have. One disk, Fallout 2 only, no manual. Picked it up for 2 freakin bucks, think I must have gotten lucky. I'll try to get a pic to put up.

If someone can host it?

Of course someone else might have the same package, they could post it instead.
 
I just got too lazy to borrow a camera, but I found a picture of the package I have. It was on Ebay.

I don't know how long link will stay open.

My copy was bought used, so it's not in great condition, but I saw that there were unopened copies for about $15.00 US when I was online.
