Idea for a random encounter

In the middle of the desert you find a car that you can't use. It's a 1957 DeSoto. The one Ernie drives. In it you find a toaster. Can not be used but it will be like the daisys in FO2. ( If you don't know what i'm talking about, read Ernie by Bud Grace) I know that many of you don't think it should be lots of vehicles like cars and stuff but I think that it should be at least ONE working car except for the one you find in FO2 in all of southern California. And there should be more skins for your character so you can be black, fat, skinny, blond, redhead and so on.
 
How about

How about a garage full of toasters or the pirahna clubs headquarters

i think fallout 3 should be based on a darker setting rather than full of jokes.
the jokes are ok but it kind of detracts from the game a little. especially the really bad ones :)
