If there was ONE thing I liked about PoS...

MBO

First time out of the vault

Did this "game" have its soundtrack released?

No, because they were songs cheaply licensed for Chuck to insert talentlessly into the game, featuring Slipknot and a few others. While I do like their work separately, it is wholly not suitable for Fallout at all.

I think MBO meant no more than what he said - that the only thing he liked was bashing bosses while listening to death-metal songs. Not that this makes the game anything Fallout.

Dude... Slipknot in a Fallout game? That's just wrong...

What's next, Britney Spears in Battlefield 3?

Hey, actually, the game HAS a purpose.

With the help of a pencil and some practice, you can use it as an effective pizza cutter.

dam you old school hardliner fallout fans

Just think of titles like this and tactics as failed fallout 1 mods!

Pretty useless.

Not sure what you're going for here. Mods that were packaged and charged money for? And which leeched time and money from related projects? Does that mean we don't get to slag them off?

No one cares I'm sure.

Sentiment noted, but pretty off topic.

on the subject of music...

theres some great atmospheric music (which would be cool as fallout background music tracks) on a new movie (just released in GB) called 'the constant gardener'

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387131/

Also i think 'midnight syndicate' would be a good choice for any future 'backing' tracks for the game.... they produce atmospheric music for Theme parks, Dungeons and Dragons (rpg) and general albums.

On the subject of music fitting it's subject matter...

I felt that the music for Diablo 2 was simply PERFECT for the game. I have the soundtrack and it blows me away both how appropriate it sounds in the game and how good it is outside of it.

I love when game developers really flesh out all aspects of the atmosphere of their work.
