Illustrated Fallout 3 adventures!

Just as long as you don't forget the 90% minimum on the review you're doing for us.

90%? But you said before that if I want to get that vault shirt I better give it 12/10 to beat all the other reviews?

No, these are just my impressions. My review will reflect the overall quality of the game.

got to say that your comments so far pretty much fit my expectations, Vince. did you skip the whole Burke shit on purpose?

do you think there's hope in modding the shit out of the game and turn it into something V:tM-B style?

No. I'll see him tonight.

Yes. Rewriting dialogues and tweaking quests can improve the game greatly.

Meh, it's pretty funny. I'm more optimistic about the game, but that Intelligence check was a bit.. er... dumb.

That captured my first impressions just now. Feels like some kind of sick parody of Fable, but with much shorter travel time. Fairy-tale like music, karma decrease for every single stoled item, etc etc.

When the Sheriff of Megaton greeted me with "I don't know why, but I like you" before I even said anything, I almost fell off my chair.

Depends on your perception, I guess. Original FO, aside from the Monty Python references, had a serious aspect to it. And it didn't feel like a fairy-tale.

Fairy tale music? You mean music that isn't ambient, right? And stealing is usually bad, duh.

I didn't say it had to be ambient. But listening to background music that reminds me of Dungeon Siege while walking in the "wastelands" did not really enchance the mood for me, tbh.

I couldn't fast travel because I was overloaded
 One of the reasons I support fast travel in some games (ARPGs) is not in Fallout 3. Good job Beth.

So, you're saying that they acquired a well-protected stash? I wonder how many other places are hiding treasures behind monsters, hrm?
Are you fucking kidding me? That sounds like a comment that someone playing a medieval fantasy RPG for the first time might make if they enjoy stating the obvious.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the first 2 fallouts, didn't your karma only drop if you got caught stealing? (That is if they didn't attack you).

Also... NO GRAVE ROBBING!?
Where's the ability to become a porn star as well!?

^ Some other actions as well I believe. Working with the bad guys would generally drop your carma iirc. For example, working for Gizmo in F1.

My problem here is that your karma drops because of the FACT you steal, regardless if anyone notices. Geez, I'd call it legitimate scavenging, it's not a fluffy world with butterflies, dammit.
