I'm getting a laptop!

T*shiba are a good brand for laptops. There expensive but there so powerful and some of them don't even need to be turned on to play music. I really want to get a laptop because it sucks having to get out of bed to use my computer.

I don't like Toshiba. Their laptops are way too expensive for what they have to offer. Just the other day I was checking out this laptop with a 2.2 GHz CPU which costed like 3500$ just because it had stuff like remote, integrated SD flash reader and other things I will never use. Plus it also had a GeForce FX 5600, and everybody knows nVidia is a slower and more expensive solution when it comes to mobile 3D acceleration. Really, why buy Toshiba when one can have all that for just 2000$?

I bought my laptop today! Yipee! :D It works great. I installed all the programs I'll ever need, got rid of useless nuissances typical for Windows XP and connected it with my PC using USB bridge cable. Currently, I only have one game installed - Neverwinter Nights - because it requires no CD. Now I'm gonna run 3D Mark 2001 to see how it performs in 3D games. Oh, btw., laptop has widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio...) and default resolution is 1680x1050!

Whoa that's a pretty high default resolution for a laptop. Don't judge nVidia on there crappy FX's under 5900. The 5900's are really good cards and are on par with the radeon 9800 pro, which i would rather buy.

OMG, 7500 points on 3D Mark 2001, and I haven't even tweaked the system for optimal performance yet. My friend's Toshiba 3 GHz scores only 6900... So far, the only laptop I know that scores higher in 3D games is Dell Inspiron 8500 (8900 marks or something), and it costs a lot more than mine. Bless you, Radeon 9200. And you too, Centrino technology. :D
