I've found that a lot of girls do really well because they seem to have a much better work ethic. I know my sister will do her homework when she gets home to simply get it done and overwith, whereas I will put it off until 1 AM in the morning.
This is not to say that girls only do well because they work hard, but when you add the ability to set your priorities straight as well as have the mind to understand the material, you're going to produce good results.
Many people also play the teachers and know how to work just for the grade. Ever hear those people who ask, "is this going to be on the test?" Those people are trying to find the easiest path to get the grade.
Sadly, these "grade garnerers" do not take efforts to make the most of their learning rather than simply working for the grade.
The best teachers are the ones who emphasize learning rather than grading. Homework and tests should be used to help find out where the student is having problems, not the final indicator for the grade. There are also many professors and teachers that will give you good grade if you are actively interesting in the subject.
>So today i talked whit a
>psykologist and he said that
>inteligence is what u can

Psychology is a pseudo-science so I hold anything psychologists say with a grain of salt. More often than not they "discover" something that is totally obvious if you have some amount of common sense.
I do not believe tests are a definite indicator of intelligence. That is why I don't think IQ tests show anything. IQ tests are just trivia tests that don't show anything about you. That's also why colleges look at your grades as well as your test scores.
Some people take tests really badly. It certainly isn't intuitive and the questions target only a limited amount of the material learned. Tests can also be easily thwarted. For instance you should *always* guess on a multiple-choice test even if they subtract 1/4 point per wrong, you'd have to miss five out of five questions to lose anything. Some tests don't even penalize you. You can also almost always eliminate many choices just by looking. Also, most major tests has guide books to help you score better.
>Was wondering can inteligence be decided
>by a test or god
>grades at school.
Neither, or at least they don't show the full picture.
Intelligence is the ability to apply knowledge. Tests and grades are merely used to put a number to your ability to apply your knowledge to the test or subject you're studying. Though they are usually a good indicator, they don't always show the full picture, however most intelligent people can score well.
