Install Options (may be dumb ones, but..)

1) Is the full install option for FO2 the same as FO1 (won't need CD anymore)?

2) Sometimes when I play it (not on my computer) I have to re-install FO2 because of some text-fonts problem or something, but it has been at a halt since I accidentally selected minimal install.

Then I can swipe my cousin's FO2 CD and then install it on my brother's PC, and then reluctantly return it to him.

Plus, if any Canadian (in TO area) reads this, where can I buy FO2?? I can't find it anywhere! I'm too lazy to order online.

No, it still will need the cd for copy protection. I wouldn't recommend a humongous install anyway because it tends to slow the game down. With a large install it'll run fine.

Hmmh, never heard of this problem. It might be solved by installing the patch.

Problem #2 has been fixed, but I didn't get the patch.

Shadowman, are you feeling alright?

The HD runs much faster than the CD, so technically by copying it to a disk it should run faster.

Technically you're correct, but a bug in fallout can cause the game to slow down when you do a humongous install. Large install works fine though.
