First time out of the vault
So i am installing my Fallout 2 with steam and I found the folders location but the auto install still wont work keeps saying go to the directory. the folder i found is def the directory ..... SOME ONE HELP must play some fallout 2
 
The installer is looking for the .exe (Fallout2.exe). If this directory does not have this file, then you need to look elsewhere. I'm not sure how steam handles these games, but I assume the file hierarchy is still the same. Just search your system for Fallout2.exe.

Also, I wouldn't mind someone telling me the registry key for the Steam version of Fallout2.
