[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON May-04-02 AT 07:27AM (GMT)[p]Hello everyone! this is my first post on a fallout forum and i just have a question i wanted to ask.....

why exactly is interplay in financial trouble? i always seem to hear news about interplay in some sort of dire financial strait....i think i even read once that interplay was being sold to some software company in mainland china! ( not that i have anything against china, but i was just worried that fallout 3 would take a very different turn.... :p)

Well, i know that i alone like stonekeep(i mean the story manual was ingenious), but i mean the fallouts were great (except for tactics of coursse....akhem just my opinion) and the baulders were not bad either.....i just dont get it.... there's companies that continue to pull through( like the endless saga of crash bandicoot) when some of their games are complete flops....what and where exactly are interplay losing profits (to?)??? its not like they put much money in publicity for their games..... so if someone could provide my with some insight to this matter i would be greatly appreciate it.....

FATBOY over and out

ps not sure if this is the right place to post my message

A lot to do with the high salaries of Shiny, wasted development time from BIS (including more than a substantial amount of time on Torn), and general other stuff. Plus their stock has been slipping down quickly, so...

First of all.... My one question to you: Is the shift key on your keyboard functioning correctly? :)

What Rosh said. Plus they spend too much on marketing. :)

You hear a lot of news about it.. Well.. Because they are in dire financial strait.

Tactics sucked. And that's EVERYONE'S opinion :D

Hmmm.... Really want more info? Go to www.nasdaq.com and type in IPLY in one of the boxes as a stock quote and hit "InfoQuotes". Then hit "Real-time Filings". Then, in the list that comes up, start clicking on the blue links under "Form Type" and just start reading. NOTE: There is a LOT of reading.

Here's a direct link (hopefully it works)
