Introduction - Fallout2-Modding

Hello, I just found my old FO2-CD and want to play this awesome game again, but i want to experience some of these mods & hacks.
I wanted to have these things:

- fixed bugs (also translation bugs)
- higher resolution (maybe there's even 1680x1050-widescreen?)
- blood and gore
- maybe additional items, quests etc. if there's a mod for that
- game stays in my language (german)

Hello,
I am glad that you found the right forum section fo this...
Please look at either Restoration Project or MIB's MegaMod, the part about your game staying in german can be hard

There is a group of people currently working on translating the restoration project into German.

There [i}are[/i] some translations of major mods either released or pending!

However, for a really good Fallout experience you could try to play them in English - it'd do you good. Your English certainly isn't that bad!

Ok but i prefer German, i don't want to miss any of these awesome jokes in the game

btw... if i install this restoration-project (the English version):
is only the additional content English and the original content stays German?
