I'd like the inventory to be like in baldus gate
wich means : Special Boots, protective helmets, diffrent clothing, etc.. etc...
But whit the exeption to be able too carry as much as u can (those who had played baldurs gate will understand what i mean)

And..... DONT MAKE IT REAL-TIME

Any-body who doesn´t agree with me ??

I like the idea about the boots and helmets. But they should make it so that these items are Fallout items. Like for example motorcycle helmets.
You should have at least one limitation as what carrying stuff is concerned. In BG you where limited to strength AND Amount. In Fallout you can carry as much as you wont if you don't go over the strength limit. Keep it this way.
And i certainly agree with your comment that it should still be turn based and not real time.

I agree that the specialized clothing items should be added.

I also agree that the game should not be real-time. I have held this stance since Fallout 3 debate on this topic started. I just think it would ruin the feel and atmosphere of the game.

That about the motorcyclehelmet (damn that's a long word) gave me an idea.
Here it is : You all know NCR and VC in Fallout2 with their tight-ass rules, well if there is towns (cities) like that in Fallout3, and the ability to have your own little bike there should be guards in those town that yells : HEY PUT ON A HELMET YOU HOOLIGAN!

(That would be true Fallout-Humor) http://fallout.gamestats.com/forum/Images/happy.gif

you should have a limit to carry weight as far as i'm concerned.

but, when you guys say that the game should not be real-time, are you talking about the game itself or just combat? i think that combat should be turn-based but during times when you are not fighting the game should be real-time.

yes, but it should only be a weight limit, not an item limit. i hated baldur's gate, shitty game

non-combat should be real-time. combat should be turn-based.
