is FALLOUT 1 Retail version patchable/working Win7

First time out of the vault
so normally i wanted to get the game from gog.com but decided to get the retail version from the USA, then it's uncut definitely and i could get it for around 10 bucks including shipping.

but my question is if i can patch it like the gog.com version or is only gog.com version working on win7 64 bit?
 
Retail version works fine on Win 7. You might need to read up on the inofficial patches, especially the High Res patch, because that fixes weird colour issues.
