I agree. While the Vindicator does 14-19 dmg, fires 25 rounds, the bozar does 25-35 and fires 15. Mathematically, the Vindicator is 350-475 if all bullets hit, and the Bozar is 375-525 if all bullets hit. Both ammo types essentially do the same kind of damage modifier. So the Bozar would be better.

But let's not ignore the ammo modifiers.. .223 FMJ has 1/1 and 4.77 caseless has 3/1.

don't forget the gauss rifle...
with some decent skill, perception and average critical chance, you can cause huge critical hits to the eyes...
besides, it's a small gun so you'll only have to tag small guns, not big guns and energy weapons. big guns are cool though.

boooooo hiss hiss wheres the fun in big guns? i'd rather cripple ALL of an enclave soldiers limbs with a switchblade then watch him try and get away ;) this is great fun that lasts for hours, just change enclave soldier with (random enemy)
 
RE: yes..

According the items database here at NMA, 4.7mm caseless has a modifier of 3/2, not 3/1. Quite a bit of difference, there.
