Is there a way to not make the blacks in Fallout 2 look so..well...black?

The blacks just look unnatural, and this is the only game whose blacks look so bad for me.

Turn up the gamma on your monitor? Honestly that image looks perfectly fine to me.

It does look like you're using 8-bit color though. I think sfall supports 32-bit colors. Could be worth looking into.

I don't have a gamma setting on my Asus monitor but for my brightness it's set at 50/100

I'm using the hi-res patch's 32-bit mode since sfall's 32-bit mode made performance really bad. I guess I'll just deal with it being so dark.

You could also take the Nightvision perk :p

If I recall correctly Fallout 2 has a brightness slider in the options, don't know if that would work or not though :look:. Just on a note I also don't see anything wrong with the picture, but I am probably really used to it.
