It's about damned time.

I think it'd make a lot more sense on a keychain- unless you already carry a swiss army knife with you all the time. I can see it being somewhat practical, especially if you don't use the same comp for everything, but I definitely wouldn't show it off to people.

The swiss army knife just became more versatile :D
Although it seems a bit pointless as those knifes are usualy used out in the country so it's bound to get wet, which obviously is not good.

I'm carrying a Swiss Army kinfe around on my keychain right now. Its got a flashlight, nail file, scissors and small blade, all identical to the one in the picture. I've never gotten it wet, and obviously the USB knife knife is designed for urban cowboys like myself.

My only prooblem is that the drive appears to only open half way, not all the way like every other gadget. In this orientation you would have a hard time if other components on the back of say, your laptop, are in line with the drive.

Plus it looks especially thick and bulky, making it that much more difficult to handle the blade correctly. Granted, all I ever use the puny blade for is opening boxes, but its the principle.

Meh, let me see it IRL before I bite. Might make a good Christmas present though!

Nahh im waiting for them to attach flash sticks to Desert eagles. Handy for the Gangster nerd on the move.

@Murdoch: It looks like they just opened it halfway for the picture, I believe it opens all the way. I won't buy it unless it did.

@Will_c: I have other knives for cuttin stuff up, so it would just be for show. I'm kind of a tech nerd.

@APTYP: :?

@Flake: Definitely would be a must buy if someone made one of those.

Swissbit is not just any old company trying to make a buck from ingenious vehicles for memory. It grew out of Siemens and has been producing DRAM and flash memory modules - including Compact Flash and the 1 gigabyte SwissBitKey USB Memory key - for over ten years.

I'm sold!

*pets the Siemens in his ears*
