A recent study has shown the people of the San Francisco bay area to be some of the, if not the, most educated people in America.

Well, I guess the fact that I'm living here drove up the average...

he he he he If any student from the US shall start in a Norwegian university he have to go two years in an American university. what does that tell me and my big ego. That we are much smarter then u? :D Well i like to belive that.

RE: Yeah!

And Finland. You silly goats!

Don't buy furs, it takes trees to make protest signs.

Well, the study only mentioned adults. I'm a junior in high school, and god knows that there's only five or six students in my school that I can even hold an intelligent conversation with.

By the time this generation comes to fruition, S.F. will probably just be filled with vapid morons (who, by the way, will be paying way too much for their houses. Real estate cost here is sky high)

San Francisco still rules, though. :-)

We have a big orange bridge and you don't... take that, world!

I used to be smart but then i started slacking off and now all i care about is making music and DJing and getting oral sex. oh and maybe a transfer to UC santa Cruz.

Im also a junior, or what would be a junior before i took the CHSPE(california high school proficency test). so im going to CSM College of San mateo(or small minds?) What high school do you go to?

What great games have come from Norway, Finland, and Scandinavia?
...
Nuf said.
What U.S might lack in education, they make up in creativity and hard work.

thats very true! look at swedish music, its almost all this progressive trance, or house or whatever. pfffffft 4 pattern techno, i do more than that.

Living in a place that at any moment,with-out warning, have you surfing to Dever doesn't sound too smart to me!:P

Ignition!

and backpacker, and Drakar & Demoner(Dragons and Demons for non-swedes/norwegians/danes),not the computer version though, although the system was initially taken from basic roleplaying or runequest, and then modified. Khelataar, Western, Mutant, Neothech, Viking, EON, Neothech 2, Eon 2, En Garde!. Although i dont know if you would define all of these as great, Most are not computer games. I think Sweden makes some of the best RPGs out there, although in some cases a little rules heavy.

Ack! All the best death metal is from sweden! Anyone ever heard of NWOSDM? New wave of swedish death metal? It's become almost a whole genre by now. And the norwegian black metal scene is the biggest and most famous in the world.
Finland should not be forgotten either.

Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Mayhem, Satyricon, Ulver (Norway)

At The Gates, Entombed, In Flames, Therion, Tiamat (Sweden)

Eat list, punk.

[font color=red] Denmark

-Hitman: Codename 47. IO Interactive.

This game rules so hard. Don't believe the reviews (especially those maladjusted geeks over at GameSpot!)

[font color=red] Norway

-The Longest Journey. Funcom. (Okay, I don't see *you* as the unchangeable American you are, classifying that as a good game, but it IS.)

-Anarchy Online. Funcom. (Not released yet, but will kick UO's, Everquest's and Asheron's asses!)

That's pretty good methinks, 2 games for a country with 0,016% of the US' inhabitants (4 divide by 250).
And both of these games RULE! That's a ruling percent of 100% of the country's total number of games! Compared to the US' ruling percent, which is far below 50%! And these numbers are all but pure guesses, believe you me!

[font color=blue] Sweden

Uh, none. (Phew!) >: D

EDIT: Oh, wait! Ignition. *bangs head* Memory, memory, memory!

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Dec-21-00 AT 09:26PM (GMT)[p]In Norway we have A-Ha, who again have the greatest music ever to grace a CD (next after Moby and U2, A-Ha's song Velvet rules in for third). Just because you haven't heard their music over in the US doesn't mean their music doesn't exist. It's pretty damn popular here in Europe.

And in Sweden you have... uh, D'Lay? Wasn't that his name? The guy with that old iiii-eee-åååå-eeee-øøøø-å-e-ææææ-i-e-æ-ø-å. Any Swedes here probably know what the hell I'm talking about :) Actually there's tons of artists in Sweden.

And in Denmark you have...

Olsen Brothers :D

Oh, and Aqua, together with Norway.

Finland? ARE YOU FRIGGIN BLIND, DEAF AND STUPID? BOMFUNK MC'S MAN, BOMFUNK MC'S!
