[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Apr-02-02 AT 07:42AM (GMT)[p]I was going through the archive checking on some of the old, more popular posts and rosh's post about the "America deserved the terrorist attacks" seemed to be the most in depth. I read through it and was amazed at the profound statements made by some of you guys. Basically I'm just buffing most of the people here because I am seriously a little smarter listening to some of you people talk. I've been to some of the other message boards like D&C and just some other non Fallout related ones and I have to say we're the smartest. How odd that this certain collective of people happen to gather here at NMA. I've been here for 2 years or so(making crappy posts the whole time) and I have to say it's almost like a family. You guys are awesome...

BTW: Xotor, yer form UT? Me too, Layton, what about you?

My cool new quote...
"One death is a tradgedy, a million deaths is a statistic." Josef Stalin

I thoroughly agree with. I've been around to most fallout related boards and out of all of them I've chosen to hang out here mainly because of the people. There are far less flames here than most places and the guys here are intelligent for the most part. It seems that the occasional idiots who stop by feel so out of place with the general intelligent chit-chat that they go to a place that more friendly to them.

The other reason I come here is probably because of the activity on these boards. I did spend a while, in my abscene, on some of the other fallout related boards and I must say that I ended up stopping by every day just to see, ~~No new messages~~ on every forum.

The posts here are very in dept, espicially by the veterans here, both fallout and non-fallout related. The enviroment is most usually friendly, and even when we disagree with people we give specifc reasons why, not just "No way, absolutely not, I'd shoot everyone here before I ever let that happen," on every thread where a person says something 'wrong' or makes a bad suggestion.

It's taken a while to cultivate that sort of environ here. One that I think V13 might be reaching in gaining a "morons beware" status as well.

After a couple of years of a bit of harsh chewing at the more blatant idiots, Xotor and myself have gotten the forum into a "post intelligently" state. It's gotten a notoreity of where people had better be defended to back up their posts with a bit of actual thought rather than nail the cgi of the server with the equivalent of ASCII roadkill.

It does cut down on traffic, but what we do have is of a better quality overall.
