Just need suggestions for a F:NV mod.

Hello. I am planning to create a mod for fallout new vegas but I am new to making mods I have been creating mods to practice the geck. But this is my first mod Im going to release so other fellow new vegas players and modders can enjoy. (unless you play new vegas on a console then I apologize.)

What I have in mind is a mod that is a short or medium length, a few custom nifskope weapons, retextures. (I have been also praticing with photoshop)

And I was wondering if any more experienced mod creators could give me a few suggestions or advice I would apreciate the help.

I used to be friends with dudes who did Skyrim modding and they said anyone who wanted to get in to modding shot create a small area. Have a quest with triggers, spawns enemy, reward is new weapon, Simple formula that teaches you the basics.
