[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Mar-23-01 AT 06:12AM (GMT)[p]I was thinking a while back ago some ideas for F3.
Like, I think it'd be cool if you could travel all over the US, and maybe over the continent, and MAYBE the world, provided you had the transportation. And, if the storyline was big and complex enough so you had to travel all over to complete different quests of the game (example, like you start out in a small area, then you soon get a car or another mode of transportation so you can travel to different states/countries to do small quests there, maybe progress on large quests, etc.) Also, the option to select which race you wanna be.
Oh, and change the effects of the unarmed skill, so that not only do you hit more often and do more damage in unarmed combat, but you can also block other's unarmed and melee weapons. Like, you could do that in real life better if you have studied and learned some martial arts and such. knowwhaddimean? And, if there was a multiplayer option so two or more players could be one of those 'parties' that were composed of the player charactor and the rest NPC's. That could have some problems, though, but nothing that can't be worked out (most, anyway) And, when you initiate dialoge with them, instead of selecting what to say, just use chat to communicate/trade/whatever.
Another thing. When you aim your weapon to fire, you should have the ability to fire it anywhere to do certain stuff (like, at the door to try to break it down, or set up explosives around the wall of a building to blow it out, etc.). Along with that, the terrain, structures, etc. should be modifyable (like, blowing a crater in the ground or blowing down a door or wall).
Oh, one more thing. To increase realism, maybe the game should have a feature/whatever you call it so you get hungry and thirsty after a certain amount of time. People generally get that way.
Sorry, the last one. Maybe the player charactor should be able to get sick/ill from some disiezes, affecting stats & skills temporarily; unless a crippling disieze.
Ok, thats all I've thought of so far...
