First time out of the vault
I've been a huge fan of Fallout 2 and I decided to do a run again recently. I decided to do it this time with killap's expansion, but not long into the game I've discovered a really frustrating bug.
I managed to wipe out the slaver guild in the Den with very careful turn-taking at level 4. Surprised with my luck, I looted every corpses I find; yielding a lot of 10mm pistols. I headed on to the Vault city after rescuing Vic, but this is where the problem happened: Every time I try to exit the east side of the Den, the game crashes on me regardless of the exit grid I take.
After several retries I looked up my problem on Google. I found something about a bug called 'too many items', saying that the save will get corrupted if there is too many items in one area. I suspected that might be my problem with my the amount of my loots. But then I remembered I have never encountered this problem before on my previous vanilla playthrough. I thought it might be a problem with the expansion, but more information I found on the internet conflicts with this and say that killap's expansion pack has fixed this issue.
I don't know if this is an original bug from the vanilla game or it came with the expansion pack. But it's really annoying that I can't continue this save I have spent hours on.
Is there a solution to this problem?
