Yep. For those who don't know, "Silent Hill 1" has several references to "Kindergarten Cop" (a Schwarzenegger's movie from 1990).

it's an homage to cheesy horror movies to begin with. I feel that it's only in retrospect people have elevated it to high art of gaming.

Mind you, I always find some amusement that Silent Hill 2 is considered the masterpiece of the franchise...in the West.

But in Japan, everyone thought it was cheesy and got away from the REAL element everyone wanted more of: the Cult!
