@DwayneGAnd Didn't we recommend several times you make a "General Character Builds" thread?, I mean, making a separate thread for each individual question you have relating to builds just inflates the number of threads.
103 threads. He openend 103 threads so far. Considering he only posted 150 times in total that means 68% of his posts are new threads.
@DwayneGAnd: I'm asking you to stop spamming new threads so much. I mean, it's already too late and all the subfora are already full of your threads, but c'mon, it's getting ridiculous. First of all, use the search function. Second, if you're already posting all of the available information from the wikis in your initial post, what is there left to ask? "Which is better, laser or plasma?" Are you asking for opinions or plain numbers? Since you munchkinned the fun out of the games already, shouldn't you already know the answer?
How about you actually, finally, play the goddamn games instead of writing books about the mechanics of your characters? How about you think of a new character, not in terms of stats, but in terms of persona, y'know,
character, a backstory and so on. And
then you think about what stats would fit this character. Is your new Courier a hardened veteran soldier or a smooth-talking socialite? Do the stats accordingly, and then PLAY THE GAME accordingly. Try to think like this character would think. It's called "roleplaying". None of that "plasma users will only use plasma weapons, where can I get most of my perks"-powergaming bollocks. Just... Enjoy the fucking game. And for Lucifer's sake, start actually interacting with this community instead of spamming new questions about mechanics that you can (and mostly already did) find out about by reading the wikis.
Plasma didn't necessarily penetrate armor better in Fallout 1/2, it was just that laser and plasma had different armor stats/damage types, and most armors had lower ratings for plasma damage. Plasma didn't have any armor piercing properties per se.
