First time out of the vault
I am remaking FO1 with a FO2 mod but i am going to add ALOT of new things(i personally think that only one Thieving mission is not enough). and since i am the only person working on the poject(yep, im a friendless computer\fallout nerd) it wll take a very long time. my question is: is it illegal to include any origonal files from fallout 1? i wont sell the mod or anything so thats not a problem, but im afraid that people who only have fallout 2 will be able to play fallout one for free. and i dont want to be sued by whoever currently owns the rights to fallout.

Whoa, déjà vu. Did you check all the other threads on this topic? No offence, but I'm sceptical about someone who thinks "alot" is a word pulling off such a mammoth project on his own.

thats the last time i try to plan a mod when i dont sleep.

i have another stupid question that was probably answered many times. is the thing in the fallout 1 credits where you type "BOOM" and that guys head blows up hardcoded or is there a way to achieve this through scripts?

That one would be hardcoded. It's funny that I don't think I've ever heard of this before (though I knew about the animation), yet a Google search shows that it has been known.

What was that about a head blowing up?

Oh, and you're wrong. Actually, you have to type "boom".
