Let it snow

Mind it's in spañish.

Snows in BA! The first time in my life I see snow here. And it's snowing harder by the minute.

Yeah, it may not mean much to you but it does for me. The only time I saw snow was when I went to Bariloche (the Aspen equivalent for South America here in Argentina).

Heh. What's even more surprising is that this occurs during the middle of the summer.

Now go out and make yourself some yellow snow, I promise you, it's a blast!

Not too good at geography, uh?

Buenos Aires is in the southern hemisphere = It is winter in Buenos Aires.

Yeah, something didn't seem right. Fucking vacation, erasing all that knowledge...

Then again, geography never was my strong side. But I did know that, that's all I want to point out.
Now make yourself a snowman, but with a twist - instead of putting the carrot on it's head, place it at the 'crotch'. It's hilarious!
You can also splash a little pee there, so it looks like Mr. Frosty wet his pants...

beats the alternative:

*queue dramatic music*

"Nothing lives in what once was called the 'Latin Paradise'. Buenos Aires has been wiped off the Earth. The Federal council met moments ago and voted unanimously for mobilization to destroy the Arachnid threat."

That's not snow, carnalito. It's radioactive fallout.

Snow in BA? Holy crap.
That is like Bakersfield California got up to 126 degrees fahrenheit. Some strange times we live in. I love you global warming.

Nice. I wonder how the Low Desert fared... 126 in Bakersfield, that's just nuts.

Welp, I have to add to that... We're in a serious drought out in KY. By now, it *should* have rained several weeks worth... where I'm at, it has rained just once, all year, and even then it was little more than a sneeze. It sprinkled twice, though... barely enough to notice, not enough to bother turning on the windshield wipers, and not nearly enough to show up on blacktop.

It's summer here in the UK and we have Flood Floods for fucks sake and worse yet we got a hosepipe ban.

It is winter in Australia obviously. But the ocean is still nice and warm and the air temperature is not that much cooler than in most of Europe. It has been a much cooler winter this year though.

Although we are also suffering from a serious drought, we have had several floods and storms recently, with multiple fatalities.

However, extremes in weather are not so strange for Australia, although the weather is usually quite stable in the temperate coastal regions of the south-east.

It's been raining in Polandia for about three weeks, last week was a carbon copy of the weather in early November: 9-12 degrees Celsius, drizzle and strong winds beneath a steel sky.

Weird, May was hella hot.

Pretty much the same over here, The Lands of the Vikings, besides that May wasn't that hot (what I can remember), but the first half of June was instead.
Went down to the continent for a few weeks, but confirmed sources tells me rain's been pouring down.

Then again, it's like this every year; first comes a few day of no clouds and alot of sun, and everyone goes 'Aww! This is going to be the awesomest summer EVAR!!1' and after that it, more or less, constantly rains until August. Now comes the sun, but hey, now everyone starts complaining instead; 'Aww, man, it's so friggin' hawt!'.
And it is.

Heh. Not that I really care about the weather here, I'm off for a month and a half to Central America starting Friday.

28 degrees average, and occasional showers/thunderstorms daily, after 5 PM only. Whoopee!

Is there someplace in Auzzielandia where it never gets below 30°C? I'm considering emigrating. :freak:

*cries* Yet another thunderstorm here, and still not a drop of rain has fallen yet...

*sigh* Oh well... I'm glad I decided to let the garden go fallow this year.

Yeah it's fucking freezing!! And what's up with putting airconditioner without an offbutton in a room that's 8 degrees celcius!?

Trying to get rid of people? I don't know about air conditioners monsharen, but the owner should be able to fix it for you.

I heard that many people died of exposure in Argentina during a cold snap and energy crisis in May.

It is 14°C in Sydney at the moment, so I'm using a gas fire. I like to be warm and natural gas is pretty cheap.

It is 25°C in Darwin, which is usually very warm, but it has a bit of a sticky tropical climate I believe. If you want to be very warm, that is probably the best place here to emigrate to. Still, the people can be a bit weird and you can feel isolated (as you might in Perth or Hobart), so visiting a more civilised place like Sydney or Melbourne is better if you can find a place to stay (good housing is very difficult to find).

Melbourne is usually cooler than Sydney.

Brisbane is usually warmer, 19°C, but also less civilised.
