Few days ago Lionheart was released for sale in my country.I excpected an excelent review of the game but... .This computer magazine described it something like Fallout meets Diablo.Now i am in dillema:Buy it or not buy it,question is now!
 
Yes. That's question. Well, what about me - I expexted more from Lionheart. The only thing in common with F, from my point of view, is SPECIAL system. If you like, Medieval universe maybe you'll like it... But I would prefer to play BG once more.
...Maybe you should try demo first at http://lionheart.blackisle.com/demo.html (of course, if you have an opportunity to download 151 Mb)? Or ask your friend to buy it :).
 
Definitely try the demo first if you can. If you enjoy the combat in the demo, you'll probably enjoy the game. If not, don't bother to buy it because it's 90% combat.
 
I bought it.And the impression is..OK.Not "greatest game of all time"(Fallout 1 & 2),"thank god for people that created it"!( BG,Planescape:Torment,Icewind Dale) it is just that-OK.Cool quests,great NPC's (Miguel de Servantes is mine favorite,has things for widmills :wink: ) but the combat ruined it all!Frankly i excpected more from BIS.Beter luck next time!
 
Lion Heart.

I just bought the game yesterday and find it to be pretty awsome, I was also considering starting a clan of some sort for this game, if anyone is interested.

My internet connection will be finally put up in about 2 days so anyone who is interested in playing Lion Heart online contact me..

What dude? its not bad... I still pref Fallout 2 but seriouslly I've tryed almost everything on F2...

Lionheart is a change and I like change.

I havn't tried it yet but I'm not sure I will...noy until it hits the under 5 bucks list anyway.

I almost got Fallout Tactics...but I stopped because IPLy only have credit card ordering options...oh well.

Well its pretty good man, Lionheart is quite allright.

and you'll be waiting for a life time before it hits 5 bucks.
 
LionHeart is good... until you leave Barcelona. Then it turns into a very poorly implemented Diablo clone.

Suckage central.

Good thing about it is that the engine is VERY moddable and, it appears, that F2, for example, could be ported across. Similar gfx format, SPECIAL...

Well, I think that's the reason that it gets such bad reviews - there are no other cities.
