The pictures from <http://desslock.gamespot.com/features/lmm/lmm001.html> are really impressive!
But, personally, I don't see Fallout 3 fitting in there...

Sorry ? Do you mean, you don't like the type of graphics used, or you don't like the 3d-stuff ?

Of course you should leave out about all the artwork of those pictures, because Legends of Might & Magic is in no way like Fallout (I haven't played LMM, but its a pretty sure shot to say LMM and f1&f2 are not alike)
I like the pictures, though.

...that I can't imagine Fallout 3 using a 3D engine of that kind, in an isometric view... I don't know........

Does anyone can imagine a cool Fallout 3 after seeing these pictures??

They kinda look cartooney to me, at least the characters. I can't imagine the Vault Dweller looking like a cartoon...

It's just how you fill it in...

I can see how it would fit in. Just imagine the view from f1 or 2 and Think of a thread model of it. You could do allmost anything with it. Just fill in the polygons in the right way.
