Well, you can find the spectacles if you kill the "smart" scorpion found in the Broken Hills. But here is where to use them. Go to New Reno and to the guy, who sells kinda big guns etc. (the same guy, who gives you the thingie to repair the Mine in Broken Hills, fi you say the secret word about a chicken, who kicked the bucket). If you hand him the spectacles, he'll see what kinda dump his place really is and as a favor you can ask for some discount. Understood??

Uh, it's not the guy who sells guns, that's Renesco the "pharmacist", although you do get the mine part from him.
