Loremaster of Age of Decadence

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
With the death of the Let's Play thread, Vince decided to give us something else:
We've decided not to continue the "let's play" thread. Frankly, I thought that we stopped at the right moment and showed enough, but a lot of people wanted to see more stuff, so here is our compromise.

We'll explore the "ruins" satellite location with a loremaster. Why a loremaster? Two reasons. First, to show a different skillset in action. Second, to tell you a bit more about this loremaster dude and what he actually does.

Coincidentally, you'll also see improved graphics and camera control. Anyway, without further ado...

Now, I'm sure you remember the conversation with Dellar, so I won't post the entire thing. Here is an overview to refresh your memory (or to start somewhere in case you've just joined us).

Looks like there's a new Let's Play summary up at RPGWatch too.

Age of Decadence was released already?
No. The game is still in development and somewhere between Alpha and Beta (aka playable but still needs polish/bug removal). The Let's Play summary is a summary of a playthrough done by Iron Tower Studios on behalf of the fans in their forum. They essentially post the dialogue, descriptions, and screenshots and let the fans vote on what to do next, then they do that and show the resultant dialogue, descriptions, and screenshots and continue on from there.

It's a very effective way for Iron Tower Studios to show off the gameplay (especially since it is turn-based) while not giving away too much of their plot or having the fans see the bugs that they still have to fix (which would be a bit like watching the sausage being made). If only Bethesda would do something so open and democratic as a player driven playthrough.

Egads. Please work on the contrast and the fonts.

Hint: boldface is a cheap fix if your font is unreadable because of low contrast. Thin fonts are bad.

Also: if you can't stand seeing how sausages are made, you don't deserve to eat them. YUM!
