First time out of the vault
New glitchs for your hungry brains to ponder.
I have fallout 1 on my laptop. No problems installing on ME. I have this patch - fallout_unofficial_patch1[1][1].3beta, and the official 1.1 patch. I have a 800Mhz Intel celleron with 120Mhz RAM.
The game starts ok, have played it through vault 13 and shady sands with no probs.
Got to vault 15 and started getting glitches.
1st crash was when trying to get down the elevator from level 2 to 3. Finally managed by ignoring the elevator till I used rope directly on it.
2nd glitch was using the red item toggle button. Caused total crash of game and need for restart just like the elevator.
3rd glitch was the locker at the back of the command centre. Caused another lock out. Can't look at the locker, so are left ignoring it.
4th glitch is the rocks. I think i'm supposed to be told that I cant get to the water chip, but all I am getting is that there are rocks. I've tried looking at them loads, and looking at the door which is blocked. No message telling me I cant get though.
5th glitch is the elevator on the way back up. It crashes the game again.
So lots of glitches in one area, most crashes, but one lost message too.
Have tried reinstall of the game, no luck. Any advise welcome. Thanks in advance.
