I’d like for Fallout 3 to completely change the gaming industry, the same way as Fallout did. I want it to be so complicated and so rich in detail that it will not be surpassed for years to come. I also want each game to be completely different than the previous. Perhaps you could have different character types that you could play? Like, you could have the "Main Game" and then have multiple "alternate games." like; you could play as a merchant or as a farmer and would be able to see the events that unfolded through someone else's eyes. Like, when i beat the game and start another... i don’t want to have to go through the same sequence of battles, etc. as i did the first time. I know that FO and FO2 did that, but not to the extent i wish. Any ways, these are just some ideas/concepts that i quickly thought up (in a rush here)... please feel free to shoot them down... i figure most of you won't like the idea of playing as another character type... not so sure i like it either... just want to see how you people will react to the idea. If you want the game to be so immense like you say, game developers would have to work way too long on it. Remember what happened to daikatana ? It would have been a good game... two years ago. Now, the technology behind it is obsolete, so the game sucks (it's an FPS, it's not the content of the game that matters, but the looks). For me, that wouldn't be much of a problem (although waiting another three years is really long). The game developers would never do it, because they only care if the sales will be good. So that isn't going to happen.
