Luck roll in Sniper and Slayer perks

Hi.
I'm the new one here so if it's wrong place for this post my apologize.

I was wondering how the luck roll looks like with Slayer and Sniper perks. How does it work?

Is it something like a 6 LK gives 60% for Critical Hit, 8 LK 80% etc..?
 
Slayer doesn't come with a Luck roll - all your hits become crits automatically.

With Sniper it's believed that it adds an extra crit chance like you described independently of your normal one (which would be consistent with some observations on how Sniper interacts with aimed shots).

Although it is written succesfull luck roll, ok, it is not at all.



Another thing - tactics.

Flares.
When I throw lightining flare in front of enemies during the night or darkened place, does it reduce negative?

If yes:
Do you know any details, eg. range of the lightening flare, how much does it reduce negative in %?

There's no simple formula (that I know of), but it can reduce the darkness modifier, yes.
 
I mean that it is written in manual that Slayer perk requires luck roll.

"In HtH or melee combat holders of this perk do critical hits with a successful luck roll"

But you say it does not.

(Patches higher than 1.2 don't change that you need luck roll for Slayer, at last I haven't noticed)

OK, I get it. Look at the perk description in the game and it should be accurate.
